The
B25 Slave Relay Package (B25 SRP) is used to interface low voltage DC logic with high voltage alternating current (AC). It is designed in conjunction with the
B25 (5) Output Commandable Accessor to provide control capability for solenoids, small motors and other AC/DC operated field devices.
The B25 Slave Relay Package is primarily made up of five (5) outputs relays, providing two form C outputs (two NO/NC contacts) for each relay. Five LED lights indicate the operating status of the relays, and illumination indicates an ON condition.
The B25 SRP comes with cable assembly that interconnects the unit with its
B25 Accessor.
Note: The outputs from the five relays are obtained through four plug connectors (Molex). The connector and pins are supplied with the
SRP. This allows the user to assemble cable harnesses of the desired length. Optional 6" cable harnesses are supplied as an extra cost. These have the required Molex plug on one-end and spade terminal connectors at the other.
The Slave Relay is powered externally, either from the Accessor Trunk or local 24V DC supply. If powered by the trunk, consideration of the
SRP's power consumption impact on the trunk must be considered.
Power consumption is 40 mA per relay. If the relay output is used in a momentary action, its effect on the trunk power is minimized.
