Conspec's Single Channel Point Infrared Gas Detector is a unique IR flammable gas detector and controller offering the latest proven technology for infrared gas analysis. The IR source is a silicon based component and not a filament lamp, meaning virtually maintenance free and less frequent calibration requirements. Available for Methane, Butane, Propane and other gases, the Conspec GD10 consists of a rugged P2065 controller in a Nema 4X enclosure and remote IR stainless steel sensor providing accurate, fail safe operation that is poison proof and cannot be saturated with high volumes of gas resulting in sensor damage or drift. The sensor operates in inert atmospheres as well as harsh environments such as offshore, petrochemical or other areas catalytic type sensors are not recommended. An analog output signal (0 - 5 VDC or 4 - 20 mA) permits integration of the Series P2065 into existing systems or as a stand-alone sensor that can be installed easily as a replacement for catalytic cells using existing wiring and conduit. Coupled with Conspec's patented "smart" card, the GD10 series point IR flammable detector is the world's most accurate and reliable sensor available on the market today.
