 UNDERGROUND REMOTE RADIO

Conspec's Remote Radio is installed underground at the entrance to the mine or tunnel and is connected to the surface audio head stations with a two (2) conductor wire up to 2,000 feet away. This connection keeps outside airborne radio signals from interfering with the underground voice signals. The Remote Radio is normally powered from 110VAC input and has internal 12VDC battery back up. Use with Harsh Environment Microphone and either a Loop Antenna or a OB-Round Antenna.

Conspec's Audio Head is a remote base station usually placed above ground and connected to the Remote Radio by a two (2)-conductor wire. Several Audio Heads may be used in various surface locations to communicate to the underground radio system. Powered by an internal lantern battery.
