Conspec's Carbon Monoxide/Smoke Sensor was designed to monitor for the presence of carbon monoxide gas and smoke particulates in and around areas where conventional carbon monoxide monitors may not provide a completely reliable indication of a hazardous condition. This device was developed due to the increased use of lubricants and mechanical components that produce little or no carbon monoxide gas when heated or burned. The combination Carbon Monoxide/Smoke Sensor combines Conspec's Carbon Monoxide Monitor with a Smoke Sensor in a single, Intrinsically Safe, MSHA approved enclosure.

The P2319 Carbon Monoxide/Smoke Sensor is MSHA approved for use in permissible areas of underground coal mines (Intrinsically Safe). The smoke sensor assembly is easily removed for cleaning, testing and/or replacement.
